Abstract
The aim of this article is to support the need to conceive remote working, recently promoted by the Supreme Court of Argentina, as a paradigm in the provision of justice service and a propeller for the deformalization of preliminary criminal investigation,in pursuit of a less bureaucratic and more efficient criminal process. To this end, this analysis will be based on a review of all decisions issued by the Supreme Court of Argentina to address the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will reflect the importance and challenge of desacralizing procedural forms in the preliminary criminal investigation, in response to the need to guarantee an effective justice service with greater capacity to analyse controversies.
