Abstract
Abstract Background: Ashy Dermatosis (AD), or Ashy Dermatosis of Ramirez, F. Kerdel-Vegas and Erythema Dyschromicum Perstans (EDP) is a characterized by unknown origin which was reported first in EL-Salvador in 1957, later in Venezuela in 1961 (Latin America) and in the USA in 1966. In Japan it was diagnosed as Lichen Planus Pigmentosus in1956.
