Abstract
Contributing to the development of the country after having freed itself from the colonial yoke which lasted for almost a century remains one of the primary objectives that African theater and novels have set themselves. But this progress comes up against several obstacles of various kinds. The question of anti-values is currently preoccupying Africa. Everywhere, there is talk of the debate on anti-values which is trying to settle in a lasting way. In this study, we wanted to analyze the antivalues, brake of the advent of the development in for a white hair of Zamenga Betukezanga thanks to the thematic method. From the reading of the novel, we painted the flaws of a power which, overnight destroys African society and mortgages the future of a nation-state resulting from independence, then we noted the consequences of anti-values working against the people.
