Abstract
This study aimed to assess the subjective well-being in urban areas of the inhabitants of the City of Kinshasa. To do this, an evaluation scale of subjective well-being in an urban environment was evaluated on a convenience sample of 150 inhabitants of the commune of Kimbanseke. The results of the study indicate that the subjects of the study experience subjective malaise in an urban environment. They are therefore not satisfied with their physical environment in its various dimensions (buildings, economy, culture and leisure, natural environment, public policies).
