Abstract
This study exposes the results of the sensitization to first, second and third high school students of six public and private educational institutions of the urban and rural sector of Ambato canton, in topics of prevention of gender and intrafamily violence. The study lasted six months. Surveys were applied to the population to determine the types of gender and intrafamily violence, which were collected, tabulated and served as the basis for raising awareness among the student population, the work was supported by an inter-institutional agreement between the Autonomous Decentralized Government Municipality of Ambato and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ambato in 2016.
