The investigate the effect of a Regular Physical Education and Motor Tales in Aerobic Capacity [RCV] and Trunk Extensor Strength [TES] in students (n = 55) age 9.36 ± 0.71, were assigned to comparison group (n= 21) who did not receive Physical Education at school; intervention group 1 (n=16) who received the Regular Physical Education; or intervention group 2 (n=18) who received the Motor Tales. The intervention groups received 20 classes, 40 minutes, twice a week. The Regular Physical Education and Motor Tales contributed to the improvement (p < 0.05) of the RCV and TES, there were no differences (p > 0.05) between post-test of the intervention groups. The minutes of MVPA in both programs was similar (p >0.05) and higher than 50% of the total time of a lesson. The Motor Tales program is effective as Regular Physical Education in generating benefit in physical fitness and promote School Health.
