Abstract
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is major cognitive disorders present in older adults; the increase in population with this diagnosis is an alarming reality, as well as the evolution of DCL to dementia. Mental and motor functions in adults with DCL could be maintained by performing cognitively stimulating activities and motor. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a psychomotor program in the maintenance of cognitive and motor functions of older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Eleven patients diagnosed with MCI were evaluated by means of three batteries, both their cognitive and motor functions, this before and after the application of the Psychomotor Program; it consisted of a total of 24 sessions.
