Abstract
In the present article, a review of the strategies of approach and therapeutic intervention of strategic brief psychotherapy of constructivist cybernetic epistemology is carried out. Strategic brief psychotherapy has shown great efficacy and efficiency in the treatment of a wide variety of emotional disorders. Its proven efficacy, as well as the short duration of its interventions, transcend clinical-therapeutic aspects and give it relevance at the public health level. The theoretical and philosophical epistemological contributions of constructivism and cybernetics, as well as the great influence of Humberto Maturana's thought, print a particular way of approaching and intervening therapeutically, different from other psychotherapeutic schools.
