Abstract
Social anxiety is a disorder that affects a large part of the population worldwide. It is characterized by a persistent, intense and repetitive fear of various social situations. Coming to limit the normal development of the daily activities of the person, producing clinically significant discomfort which brings various consequences in the social, academic, professional and emotional fields. The case of a 27 years old with social anxiety disorder attended with focus of strategic brief therapy, integrative model. The strategic brief therapy has turned out be safe in the treatment of cases of anxiety. The goal is to apply a therapeutic intervention through the tecnics of strategic brief therapy to a case of social anxiety. The care and treatment of the case had relevance at clinical and psychotherapy level evidencing the full remission of the clinical symptoms and the achievement of the intended therapeutic goals.
