Abstract
This work presents the results of a research with a hermeneutic phenomenological approach, carried out during the last months of 2021, which aimed to understand the main effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on employment, education and the perspective of the future, in the last grade students of the Escuela Normal Superior Santiago de Tunja (ENSST). This study shows some solutions to the problems experienced and which have been raised to be developed them and reduce the existing gaps. As results, some perspectives on the social problems of students, the effects of mental health on young people and the academic situation of various communities can be observed, to reach the conclusion that education is a way to improve the quality of life and reduce the problems of the context at the national and international level.
