Abstract
This article highlights, as a problem, the reaction that several of the Legislative Powers of the federative entities of Mexico (this country is a federation) have had, influenced by conservative de facto powers, a reaction consisting of reforming their local Constitutions, to make explicit in them that the right to life must be protected from the moment of conception. This is after the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the constitutional court of that country, validated, in 2008, the constitutionality of the decriminalization of abortion established by the Legislative Branch of Mexico City, in 2007, and which since that time has been building jurisprudential lines relating to the fact that it is not possible to classify voluntary abortion as criminal, since it is the exercise of a constitutional right whose ownership corresponds exclusively to the woman.
