Abstract
Teacher Networks and Communities represent a topic of great interest for the local educational system, although incipiently studied. It is still necessary to better understand the opportunities and challenges to optimize the articulation between this type of groups and the School. From the literature, the need to critically and rigorously address the problems related to its internal dynamics and interactions with the institutions is noted. Through a case study, teachers representing these groups and directors of public schools in Bogotá were asked about different aspects of their interactions, seeking an updated understanding of their possibilities of collaboration for the development of the School. The systematization of findings allowed us to consolidate a descriptive model of its dynamics and opportunities, as well as the challenges in these interactions and their results.
