Abstract
This work intends to discuss the land issue in Cape Verde in the contemporary from the paradigmatic case of “São Salvador do Mundo – Ilha de Santiagoâ€. Several historical processes caused major changes in social relations established in the rural capeverdean – such as the decay of morgados, national independence, land reform, among others. Therefore, the objective is to shed light on the many perspectives experienced by peasants in search of an existential space to fit your lifestyle.ore discursive space from U.S. to Brazil set agenda and negotiate his strategic interests.
