Abstract
This article observes the changes in the Brazilian foreign policies agendas in the period of 2003-2014. The analysis is particularly focused in the role of domestic actors and the MRE shifts along the years. In this sense, the article analyses the media as a tool and as an actor of Brazilian foreign policy, perceiving it’s repertoires, discourses and interests, searching a theorical framework about authors that study the relation between media and public diplomacy guided by the ex-ministers of foreign affairs of Brazil: Celso Amorim (2003-2010), Antônio Patriota (2011-2013) e Luiz Alberto Figueiredo (2013-2015). The methodology utilized in this work is the analysis of the speech with the support of Nvivo software. Likewise, this article studies the relations among media and foreign relations, through the analysis of the speech of the ministers of foreign affairs of Brazil.
