Abstract
This article investigates the way social resistances reveals the links between China’s South-South cooperation and land grabbing. With that aim, a case study of Xai-Xai project in Mozambique is done. From a neogramscian perspective, it is argue that social resistances demonstrates that China’s South-South cooperation in Xai-Xai project is a discourse which legitimizes land grabbing to guarantee its domestic food safety.
