Abstract
In addition to the Federal Constitution, the Brazilian Defense Policy is conditioned by the following documents: the National Defense Policy, the Defense National Strategy and the White Book on National Defense. This article aims to demonstrate the importance of these documents in the building of mutual trust between the countries of South America.
