Abstract
This paper presents the results of research on the application of the roasting process of refractory gold-bearing ores and concentrates using microwave energy. The roasting process was carried out at different temperatures. The results show that after carrying out sufficient roasting, the ores and concentrates showed micro cracks and the oxidation degree reached more than 90 percent. As a result, the process of grinding and cyanidation of gold ore in microwave oven is carried out with ease. This process is considered to be efficient in terms of flow rate.
