Abstract
Online education has experienced rapid growth in the last decade; however, it is not without its challenges and unique considerations, especially in terms of equity and educational justice. This research focuses on identifying how online education experiences have impacted the perception of equity and justice in students at the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH). Employing a mixed research approach, surveys and interviews were utilized to assess the relationship between variables such as accessibility, interaction with teachers, learning quality, equity, and justice, and how these are influenced by students' gender and geographical location. At the end of this study, it becomes evident that most students consider their internet access was easier during online education, and that teacher interaction was more effective in face-to-face settings.
