Abstract
This summary examines very briefly the history of the educational-therapeutic functions of music in Hellas in the last thirty years, starting from 1992, the year of establishment of the “Thessaloniki Music Therapy Center”. Through the establishment of new institutions, the introduction of Pan-hellenic and international initiatives and the writing of scientific articles and books, it is revealed how the three authors of the paper met and how they gave birth to the idea for the establishment of «Σχολεία Ε.Μ.ΠΡΟΣ.» [“Schools E.M.PROS.’’ (in latin characters), Schools of Free Accessibility in Music, or ‘A.H.E.A.D. Schools’ (‘A Harmonic Education Accessibility Door’ Schools)].
