Abstract
We tested the Potassium silicate and liquid sulfur fertilization, aim to hypothesis using them for pomegranate trees to evaluate their resistance against Spectrobates ceratoniae (Zeller, 1839) damages levels in Pomegranate orchards in Mirjaveh district. Changes in plant resistance to this pest damages were assessed was followed. There was a significant difference between different treatments at the level of one percent. The highest number of infested trees with an average of 2/75 in the foliar spraying treatment with a dose of 2.1000 ml of potassium silicate per liter of water and the foliar spraying treatment with a dose of 3.1000 ml of liquid sulfur per liter of water had the lowest and highest effect, respectively. In reducing the damage of this pest respectively. KEYWORD: Pomegranate trees, Resistance, Mirjaveh district, Sulfur, Fertilization, Potassium silicate.
