Load Frequency Control with Hierarchical Fuzzy Systems in Non-Linear Power Model

Abstract
In this article, we propose Hierarchical Takagi Sugeno Kang (HTSK) controller for frequency load Control in a two-area electrical interconnected power system. Since some components of the power system display a non-linear behavior in stimulation experiments, we have used the non-linear model with turbine and power system governor, which makes the results more realistic. In comparison with the PID controller, the controller we suggest in this article functions more efficiently in such conditions as sudden change in work conditions (result of change in parameters), non-linear variables, and problems caused by parameter irregularities. In addition, the fuzzy controller model we suggest does not require dynamic and transfer function models to gain a satisfactory control design.
