India with 1.22 billion people is the second most populous country in the world. The figures show that India represents almost 17.31% of the world's population and simultaneously demand of energy in India is very high but India has limited conventional energy resources. The demand of electricity need is increasing in India. More urbanization, increase in GDP, increase in per capita income, increase in service sector are the major contributing factors for the same. To accomplish efficiently the energy demand an Optimum renewable energy system may be used to reduce dependency on either conventional energy or renewable energy. With about 300 clear, sunny days in a year, India's theoretical solar power reception, on only its land area, is about 5000 Petawatt-hours per year (PWh/yr) (i.e. 5000 trillion kWh/yr or about 600 TW).The daily average solar energy incident over India varies from 4 to 7 kWh/m2 with about 1500–2000 sunshine hours...
