Abstract Our concern, in this article, is to assess how the acquisition of French (which is the language of instruction) is done in the schools of the Center Belemesie. French is an imported product, its acquisition could not be done without difficulties. And to hear people speak it or to see them write it, we see that their knowledge of it is by no means perfect: faults of all kinds appear as much in speaking as in writing.
