Abstract
This study visualizes the difficulties found in: Mathematics, Language and Literature, Natural Sciences and Social Studies during the educational process of the students that attend the Third year of the General Unified Baccalaureate in the National Institute Mejía; before obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Science with the application of the exam implemented by the Senescyt, which is worth 10% in the final grade of the graduation in the institutions of medium level, and this exam allows at the same time the conversion to 1000 points that are required to apply for a career in Higher Education in the academic year 2016 - 2017. The variables are: sex, means used to update knowledge, time preparation, exam grades and the possibilities of study inside and outside the country.
